In a new initiative called City of Waller Animal Rescue, Cheech was rescued from walking alone around the streets of Texas. He was taken to a big shelter and transferred to the shelter shortly thereafter. Some of the staff members thought the tiny pooch could be [inti.mid.ated] and therefore, unwilling to let anyone close to him.
Surprise, surprise! Cheech’s rescuers were in awe when he showed them the biggest smile!
Leah Sipe, director of the City of Waller Animal Shelter and Rescue shared: I went into the kennel to check him out and yelled for the other volunteers to come look, They thought I was insane and that he was snarling, when I stuck my hand in the cage I thought they were going to pass out. He’s as friendly as can be!
