Lisa First and her husband were in Galveston, Texas. There are now 14 retired dogs and frequent foster pets in Jesse Cadena’s home. Tennis ball games and swimming in the ocean may both be enjoyed at similar times. Typically, people swim because they want to, not because they have no other options, but Hurricane Harvey’s floods compelled them to “swim” in their flooded homes.
All of them are stray dogs from Houston, and they each have a unique story to tell. Every day is filled with happiness for me.

Lisa asserts that at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, her street was entirely under water. The water level in the house also rose.

Lisa statеd:
We all shared a bed and a sofa to sleep in; the only areas that were dry were our mats and tables.

The family was imprisoned for approximately three days and occupied with protecting their pets and trying to save their most valuable personal belongings.

This required activities like kayaking while holding on to the dogs in her flooded yard.
