It’s a universal truism that cats and dogs can never be friends, let alone be together in peace.But Bagheera the Great Dane and a litter of tiny, fluffy kittens defied this stereotype and demonstrated to the world how gentle, sweet, and wonderful cat-dog friendship can be!Bagheera is a massive black Great Dane with a gleaming coat and a gentle demeanor.He was lying on the floor when he was suddenly swarmed by several tiny fluffballs!
They were very young kittens who were just starting to explore the world and were awestruck by Bagheera’s sheer size.So they tumbled and rolled towards him, running and wobbling, marveling at his long legs and great height.
Bagheera could simply kick them away, or even worse, smash his massive paws or use his powerful jaws on them.The kittens were so frail that they had no chance.But none of this occurred!Bagheera could clearly tell how gentle and careful he had to be with them, and he barely moved at first as they explored his body.Then he raised his massive paw and gently petted a tiny little full head.
He did so well that the mama cat only checked on him once and then relaxed, knowing that her precious babies were safe in Bagheera’s giant, but safe, paws.
